I received these container today,only 2 days after ordering w/o additional shipping. While they are glass storage containers in the approximate sizes I needed. They are not quite what I was expecting for two reasons. First, they are NOT MADE in the U.S.A as the product description indicates. The box clearly shows that they were manufactured in MEXICO. While I have nothing in particular against our neighbors to the South, I prefer to support the American manufacturing economy whenever possible. When shopping, I specifically searched for “Made in America” items. So to all those shoppers who believe in supporting American manufacturers; be aware that you don’t always get what you want.
Secondly, these containers have a screw top which is fine for most dry items, but may not be suitable for items where moisture or bugs may be an issue such as brown sugar or dry cereals. For these reasons I am only giving this item three stars!!
